At Eye to Eye, our Owings Mills optician is dedicated to giving you the best vision that you’re capable of having, by taking the prescriptions written by our eye doctor and crafting them to the highest level of precision. No matter if you need eyeglasses, contact lenses, or sunglasses (either prescription or non-prescription), you’ll know that our products are of the best quality and our service is unparalleled.

Our commitment to your eye care begins with a yearly comprehensive eye exam. Why so often? There are two simple reasons. First, your vision changes as time passes. This means that the corrective lenses you have, the ones that used to be ideal for you, may need some updating now. And if you have never worn eyeglasses or contacts before, you might be able to go from average vision to exceptional vision thanks to a prescription. Second, common eye diseases that include cataracts and glaucoma, form and progress without any obvious symptoms to alert you. With an annual eye exam, any indications will be found early, when treatment options are typically the most effective. But once you have your prescription in hand, this is when our Owings Mills optician enters the story.

Your eyeglass lenses are made right here, in our on-site lab. Regardless of whether you need single vision, bifocal, or multi-focal glasses, our Owings Mills optician will give you ones that meet your needs. And when it comes to the frames that house those lenses, we will assist you in making a selection from among our wide variety of designer choices. With recognizable and trustworthy names such as Cazal, Kio Yamato, Tag Heuer, Oakley, Yves Saint Laurent, and Gucci, you can feel confident that anything you pick will represent the top of the line in eyeglass frames. Whatever your taste, skin tone, facial shape, or budget, we have what you’re looking for. And if you have something special in mind, feel free to ask. We make it our business to ensure that you’re satisfied.

Our Owings Mills optician also has all the varieties of contact lenses you expect, both soft and hard. From daily wear to extended wear, disposable, and even color-changing, our contacts will fit your eyes and your lifestyle perfectly.

Vision is vital to everyday life. We all see differently and unfortunately not all of us are lucky enough to have 20/20 vision without aid. While glasses and contact lenses can help anyone reach 20/20 vision that does not mean that every lens is treated the same. Here at Eye to Eye we know that everyone sees differently and we offer a variety of visual aid options for every type of eye sight at our Towson optical store.

If you have trouble focusing your vision, you may be nearsighted, farsighted or have astigmatism. Being nearsighted means you can see things up close, but object become blurrier the farther away they are. Farsightedness means you can see things at a distance without trouble but may have problems reading or inspected something up close. An astigmatism means that your eye is not perfectly spherical, which most people have to some degree, but can sometimes affect your vision. All of these conditions can be fixed with visual correction, whether it is in the form of a glasses lens or a contact lens, but it doesn’t end there. Here at our Towson optical store, we can fit you with bifocals, trifocals or progressive lenses if necessary. Here at Eye to Eye, one of our optometrists can give you a comprehensive eye exam and prescribe the corrective lens that’s right for you.

Have you always had trouble seeing things at a distance but suddenly find yourself having difficulties reading as well? Or perhaps it’s the other way around? This condition is known as presbyopia and affects most adults as they age. When this occurs, a multifocal lens is the way to go. A multifocal lens can offer multiple magnifications within a single pair of glasses or contact lenses so you don’t have to switch between pairs or anything cumbersome. A bifocal lens offers magnification for nearby objects in the lower field and magnification for farther objects in the upper field of the lens. A trifocal lens works much in the same way, but offers a third distance, what is roughly at arm’s length, in the middle plane. Progressives mix all of these in one, providing a more seamless transition between magnifications. After a thorough examination at our Towson optical store, one of our optometrists here at Eye to Eye can accurately measure your visual acuity and prescribe a lens that will help you most. Everyone’s eyes are different and here at Eye to Eye we are dedicated to providing each patient individually to find the perfect solution to their everyday vision needs.
